I taped a piece I had to my machine/table. It worked pretty good. I did buy the silicone mat from B,B&B but hated to put a hole in it. DD uses it as an ironing mat for her applique.
Love my slider too. I don't mean to hijack this thread but could you comment on using the silicone mat for ironing... does that work?
Yes it does. any "sticky" will peel right off. She had seen the applique mats at a show but didn't buy one and later regretted it. we tried the oven mat and it worked the same as the one demo'd. It's bigger, too.
