I buy Fiesta because it is Made in USA. I don't notice utensil marks on most of the colors - mostly just the white. I use the scarlet and peacock the most and they look as perfect as the day that I bought them. FOr the white, I wet the plate and use barkeep friend. It doesn't hurt the finish. Oh, and what's best is that it's lead-free.
