Thanks for your comments. Yes I am using Eddie's tute. So far it is working great. I've got some of the 'frames' put together, but no windows added yet. I love the scrappy look, but I have to do it in a "controlled" manner -- just can't bring myself to reach in a bag and use whatever comes up!!! Anyway, Littlehud, I really do like to way yours is looking, so will probably mix at least some of the batiks in. This is a great way to get reaquainted with your fabric stash!
As far as the tutorial is concerned, I'm wondering how maneuverable this whole thing will be when stitching in the frames around the window pieces as the quilt grows and grows and grows! I was planning to do a queen until DD reminded me her bed is a king!
