Making a OBW is the easiest pattern I've done. If you can sew a 4" long seam, you can make one. That would prob. be the longest length seam ever for a OBW, for making the hex's. Finding a good print that repeats and has colors you like is the challenge. Then I think the most challenging is getting a final layout that you like the best once your half hex's are made. Making a table runner is a good way to start, but you might find it hard to keep it that narrow once you start making your hex's. and laying them out. It might grow on you and turn into something larger. :lol:
