Thanks, All. Yes, meeting this group of ladies was a very fuzzy moment for me. I found out that they had been the group that one of my friends quilted with. I had always wanted to join their group, but never had the courage to join them because I was not a quilter and I had seen their work at a show. This dear friend had just about convinced me that it was OK to join, knowing that I would learn so much from them. Then she was killed in an automile accident. One of those quilters related "the rest of the story" to me. She told of how the children had called and asked them to come and pick up K's quilting things. She brought it to their next meeting and shared everything. There were 6 quilt tops that had not been quilted. One of the members did the quilting and gave the quilts to the family. Quilters are a rare breed.
