I have the bendable bright light and without a doubt it is my favorite sewing accessory. This is what I LOVE about the light. To begin with it easily attaches to your sewing machine. You position the light to shine directly where you want it to. My light shines onto the fabric as it is feeding under the foot as well as in front of the foot. This light truly is bright and the area it covers is remarkable. One more feature that I enjoy is that it can be used on a second machine. In order to do this you do have to purchase an addition mounting bracket. These are inexpensive and can be purchased for about $10.00. So I can remove the light from my “big” sewing machine and put it on the smaller one I am using in a quilting class. I prefer this light over the OTT lights because they are attached to the machine so no addition al space is needed.
Even with my new Janome Horizon sewing machine, which offers more light than any machine I am familiar with, I use the Bendable Bright Light The Horizon does not have any light that shines in front of the machine, which is where you feed the fabric in. With the Bendable Bright Light I can have light on the fabric just before I begin to sew. I hope I am explaining this correctly.
Now I know I probably sound like a salesperson for this product, I’m not. I am just so pleased with this product I want to share it with everyone. This last bit of info could help you make up your mind about purchasing one. You can buy it for $25 plus shipping from Quilting-Warehouse.com .
http://www.quilting-warehouse.com/ The additional mounting bracket is on sale. This is a great website and I have used them. Or you can go to www.thefind.com then enter the product you are searching for and they will show you what companies have them and their price.
Hope this helps you.
