A friend of mine got me a thing that goes around my neck that says "to quilt is human to finish divine" on it. I am SUPER accident prone and thought it wouldn't work for me.
I never stitch anything without it on. I'm allergic to most metals and cannot wear a necklace of any other kind. The only trick was finding some small scissors that would fit in the clasp AND they couldn't open while I was bent over something. I love them and never sew without it.
