I made a "sewing vest" from a UFO. It has two regular pockets, one for glasses, one for ipod, an Ultrasuede holder for the scissors, three elastic holders for spools of thread, a small pocket for needles, a round pocket with elastic for thimble and a velcro spot to attach a small pincushion. Washable, made with tulle backing so lightweight enough for summer wear. When made of matching fabric and clear elastic it is well camouflaged!
