I went to Hancocks for one or two fabrics to go with the fat quarter bundle I already had. Trouble is I found a lot more that looked good with it. What to do? Well, I bought it all. Then I saw some batiks at $5/yd that I couldn't resist. I bought them "just because."

The pattern is from Scrap Basket Sensations by Kim Brackett. It's written primarily for jelly rolls but she also gives instructions for using scraps or yardage. I want to make just about every quilt in the book.

Here they are all stacked up. Aren't they pretty?

The fat quarter bundle is on the right, along with the pattern. On the left are the ones I got today.
