I wanted to let everyone know about the old fabric shop in downtown Dayton, TN., just north of Chattanooga, called Swaffords Fabrics. The owner passed last year and another lady bought it, changed the name to The Sewing Center. I only went there about once a year as it was old, very cluttered and had older fabrics, but the prices were good and I could usually find something good. So I went in today and was surprised to see a lot of newer fabrics, neatly organized, more cottons and less "junk polyester fabric". The new owner has kept the prices reasonable also, I plan to go back more often now and wanted to let others know it's there. We need to do our part to keep these small shops open! :)
