I just read a Facebook post from Project Linus that said 8500 quilts were made and sent to Japan to help victims of the tsunami. That is an incredible number. I know our local group produced and contributed 100 of those in 2 weeks! Now we are doing the same for our own state. In the past week we have collected almost 50 quilts.
