I have the exact Serger, love it. Ex-husband bought it for me about 13yrs ago. I have not even had to change the blades. Only thing don't like is threading the green dial. After I have threaded the tension, I take that thread and small needle to push it through the the bar under the needle plate, otherwise I would be all day trying to get the thread through with my fingers. I tried cleaning it once by spraying it with a can of air. It froze up and would not budge. I sprayed it with WD-40 and it has worked like better than before, that was years ago. Not sure if I should have used WD40 but that was the only thing came to mind at that time. I have never had to have mine serviced.
