You're not alone. I made an alphbet quilt for a friends baby shower. I machine appliqued all the letters and made the sashing with different printed blocks and everything turned out so pretty. I was so proud of it when she opened it and everyone oohed and ahhed. She said she was going to use it for a wall hanging in the nursery. Later I was looking at a picture of quilts I had made and when I got to that one, the Z reached out and slapped me in the face. I had put it on backwards. I was so embarressed, and to boot it all, she was a school teacher.

As a teacher myself I can laugh at the whole thing. That backward Z can be a point of humor. I know you've seen backward N's, 2's and Z's on marquis. It's just a human thing to make such errors. I was once observed by a supervisor whose only negative remark of my lesson was that I had reversed 2 letters in one of the spelling words on the blackboard. :oops: I laughed and said it must have been one of my duh moments when I was trying to do more than one thing at a time. She laughed also and said she had been there herself. So, your Z is fine.
