I signed up on line on the national do not call list. If a telemarketer call and they do, I tell them I am on the list. I listen to their blah, blah, blah & tell them it is against the law to call me when I am on the list so this time please take me off your call list, if it happens again I will turn in the company. They usually hang up on me. Some are nice and say okay, they will take me off the list.
I try to say it all very nicely. I feel they probably get paid only if they make a sell. I envision a single person with children and they are trying to make a living, but my privacy is important to me & I am on the do not call list.
