Here is my first block to my next quilt being made for my brother & sister-in-law. I've promised them a quilt for the longest time and now am starting on it. Each 12" block has 61 pieces and I have 50 blocks to make. Here is a sneak peak at their quilt. I think it turned out really nice, but a ton of matching to do, so I really have to concentrate on it. I used scant 1/4" seams. I'm so excited to make this for them, I know she'll love it since she loves dolphins. Some of the blocks will have killer whales in the center, but she doesn't mind.
What do you all think?
I think they will both love it. Looking go so far! Keep you the good work and don't give up all of the blocks will eventually get finished and we want to see a pic of the whole quilt. lol.
