You will be very very close to a great shop , Pieceful Hearts fabric they are in Lisle on Maple Ave..
If you like batiks you must go to Quilt fabric.com its about a 10 -15 minute drive ( depending on traffic)from Lisle staight down 75th street to Rt 83 its on the corner.They have one of the most extensive collection of batiks of any shop I have seen. Many of my family ( out of town) make this a must when they visit.
Those are the two closest to you in Lisle. ( I live a suburb over from Lisle)
Some of my family will be visiting in a few weeks , they are comimg for the Frank L. Wright architecture walk (Oakpark) , this is a once a year event when some privately own FLW homes are open for public tours. It is quite the event on May 21st.
