I made my daughter a quilt when she was in junior high school. It is an Elanor Burns pattern, Lover's Knot. She has loved that quilt for many years and I have rebound the edges of it once already, as that wore out first. Now I am in the process of applying decorative patches to cover holes!

The quilt below is made from the same pattern. I really wanted to make a different quilt, but my girl wanted the same one. I had to make this one to cover the time it would take me to restore the first one as my daughter told me she couldn't sleep unless she was wrapped up in one of my quilts. I think that is the sweetest compliment I have ever received.

I love how the swirls in the quilting match the swirls in the fabric
