minky is usually used for baby items. but I bought a bolt of this not knowing what I was going to do with it and it takes up a lot of space. As far as working with the jelly roll, I did not measure anything, I would just sew till the end and cut and do it again. someone had it on a message Sunday. I don't remember who but I am glad I found it.
