I am curios about all the quilt shops there. I m limited here in New Jersey were I can buy fabric, so I am looking forward to moving to a bigger city with more fabric selections. You will love San Antonio. You need to get in touch with BeBe. She is on this board too. A very nice lady. There is a great place out on Blanco called Creative Sewing Center. Also BeBe goes to New Braunfels to a shop & belongs to a guild there. There is also one called Seventh Heaven & another with a spanish name that means blanket. I can't remember the name off the top of my head. Get ready girl cause the place is hot but I still love it.
