Hi,
I was home sick for a few days last week and watched a ton of You Tube quilting videos to help me with my learning process -- very new to this very addictive hobby. I got hooked on 10 minute block and single seam flying geese and the easy dresden template that you sew and turn the points. I want to try some of the cool quilt as you go blocks that you connect with the sash as you quilt too. I tried them all except the last one with success already. I started a little book of samples I can reference and getting brave enough to start planning my first pieced quilt (I only have a t-shirt quilt under my belt). Anyway, I saw another video but forgot to bookmark it -- it was a lady at a quilt show I think -- that had a shortcut for a friendship type block where she stacked 6 pieces of fabric then cut and turned and cut and turned several times then re-stacked the stack using a coded pattern and then sewed the 6 blocks up to be all identical color combinations. I tried searching multiple ways but just can't seem to find this video again. I am hoping someone knows this video. I am obsessed with finding it and have wasted about 4 hrs trying to find it with no success. Thank you in advance for helping me locate this video. P.S. Leah Day is fascinating -- I wish one day I can be brave enough to try some of her techniques.
