Well it looks a little like piano keys to me. What does the young man himself think? Maybe else add a narrow white border all the way around and then add the green binding. I looks rather modern to me. The only one that seems off to me is the one green one on the right. It should be in the middle maybe? But I sometimes like adding a block that is a rebel.
