I love your Kaleidoscope quilt blocks. I would take a class if I could find one here in Denver. Your choice of colors are beautiful.
Anyway, where did you get the pattern or what size are the triangles????
I could probably trace a dinner plate onto paper, cut it into 8 pieces and add seam allowance.
the pattern might give tips or whatever to make it go together easier.

Do you think you could learn from a book? If so, the book I used was MAGIC STACK-N-WHACK QUILTS by Bethany S. Reynolds. The pictures and directions are very clear. I'm sure there are other good books as well. This method begins by stacking fabric in a specific way and cutting through all layers, then using one stack (of which each piece in the stack has the very same design on it). The next stack will be different bc it comes from a different area on the piece of fabric.

Perhaps the old Simply Quilts will have a demo on this technique. I saw Reynolds' demo on SQ many years ago.
