Plus, I work 32 hrs per week alot of it on concrete floor standing all day. I am just scared how this is going to affect my finances. Has anyone else had this surgery? Your input would be most welcome.
Sorry you have to go through this, but from what I understand it is a common procedure with great results. My son has needed it done for a long time. But he is self-employed as a tile setter, so I understand your concerns about the finances. That is why he hasn't had his done. Plus he is on his knees all the time doing tile work. My Rottie had ACL surgery last November, a steel plate was put in his knee to reinforce the weak ligaments till they heal. Took him 5 1/2 months to heal, but he is a dog and doesn't understand to keep weight off it. He is better than new now and you can't stop him from anything. Keep the faith, you will be protected, as everyone else has said. Will be thinking of you.
