I was reading a thread on here, and a couple of people mentioned they wouldn't fly in an airplane..I am going on 52, and have never flown in a plane, just totally freaks me out.. hubby says I would love it... I beg to differ, LOL, keep thinking I could fly to Vegas or something, about an hour and 1/2 , if I hate it I can rent a car and drive home, alot of my friends can't understand how I can get on the back of harley but won't fly in an airplane.. just wondering how many have a fear of flying?

I too had a fear of flying and would not even consider it but a few years ago I had to fly a short trip from Atlata, GA to Orlando, FL and I survived and have flown several times since then. I still prefer driving but it gets me there faster and sometimes that is important. I must add that on that first flight I did take anxiety pills.
