I was always afraid of flying but I got the opportunity to go on a cruise with my mother, brother and his wife. The cruise was in Europe and I knew it was a once in a lifetime opportunity. So my first plane trip was across the ocean, from Chicago to Copenhagen, Denmark. I was really nervous to begin with but once I was on the plane and the plane took off I was fine. The plane took off at night so I was able to see the lights of Chicago. It was wonderful.
