Maybe I should make this kind of a deal with myself......if I lose, I can buy something that week....if I don't - STAY OUT OF THE QUILT SHOPS...............I hate to ask but what happens if I gain?!?! :o
Give it to your Leader .... mine would love it!!!!

Here's some things I've seen done over the years, which could be converted to quitaholics anonymous!

* Three gals came together. Whomever lots the most of the week received $5 gift certificates from each of the others. It was a win-win-win as once the $ was spent, the others got to read the books too!

* Two young Moms traded babysitting. At every ten lb. loss, the other Mom kept the kids for the night, so the celebrant could have a night out with DH sans kidlets! (APPs created for next child?) So if you were the sloooooooow loser, you lost again by not getting your nights out ... and looking after the other kids. Incentive or what?

* A flower shop was right near the WW meeting. After the meeting, one lady would go and buy a flower for every lb. or part she lost. And if she gained, the vase sat empty for the week, to remind her to stay on track! It was nicer to see the flowers to remind her.

* One woman had a deal with her DH that for every lb he put $ into a piggy bank for her. eg. 2.2 lbs lost, he put in $2.20. If she gained, guess what, she paid!! :)

* A visitor to our meeting told us that she'd lost 100 lbs. As oft is the case our jaws dropped in amazement as she looked fantastic. She told us that as she was losing, each week, she purchased a piece of clothing one size smaller. So she always had clothes to look forward to as she lost ... and never wore baggy stuff!

* The best ... an older gentleman who came solo with all these women. When he reached goal, he went out and purchased a brand new car as his reward ... and came in beaming to tell us all!
