It's really easy.

You just cut and paste or type the URL (address) for the site you want to include.
You MUST include the http:// at the beginning before the www.

If you've done it correctly, it will show as a blue link when you preview (or send) your post.
Otherwise it will show as black text (like the rest of your post).

www.jinnybeyer.com/

That's why you see some valid addresses that aren't live clickable links.
Folks just forgot (or don't know) to prefix it with the http: // .

Wow--now I know why the websites aren't clickable when I type them in. I never knew to put the prefix. I'm so glad that you explained that. Thanks.
