Finally got it quilted!
Thanks SO MUCH to Ginger at Ginger's Quilt Shoppe in Upland, CA for the quilting!!! She did a fabulous job on it, using a musical-themed quilting pattern.
I still need to get some pictures of the quilt WITH the binding on it, but here are some to show the quilting.
This quilt will be auctioned off on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the Walk for Mental Health at Ayala Park in Chino, CA. The monies raised will go to the Jason Tennies Memorial Foundation, and from there to NARSAD, the Brain & Behavior Research Fund. There will be live bands playing all day, including some playing Jason's music, information booths & food booths. The last weather report I read said it should be in the high 60s, so it should be nice for walking!
The backing fabric is actually BLACK! And it's quilted in white.

No binding yet, but I used the same black as the guitar applique.

The colors are so OFF! The pieced borders are purple & green, the 'notes' fabrics are black & white.
