I think cost really depends on the condition of the machine and what accessories come with it, as well as if it's got a scroll plate or a plate with the straight lines. The original color also makes a difference. I bought my black centennial edition for $250 about 10 years ago (before the economy took a nosedive). The only thing it needed was the footpedal rewired because of the small cracks in it, but that was due to age and not abuse. Good luck in your hunt. These are great little machines.
