It looks like those are 10" blocks.

As long as the blocks are a multiple of 5 (5, 7.5,10, 12.5), it should go together easily.
I sat down and drew out the blocks without any problem. Mostly wondering if small squares finish at 2". I'm sure she has some easier directions and that is why I was trying to run the pattern down. That QST would almost have to be paper pieced if they are that small. Appreciate your help.
