I hope so too, but for us, it is the governor who is never here. Lots of national hype about him, and he will have a "face" to this situation, but he is almost never here. Very discouraging for sure.

Update we heard is that Morganza will open tomorrow, but that puts other people in danger or displacement, and that is heartbreaking. And, like one of you said, man made flood may not be covered by flood insurance. So very sad.
