I made this quilt for my uncle who just turned 87. I told him the meaning of the log cabin blocks and added what the stars meant to me. I also told him that it was a very special quilt for him because it was made with Miss Laula G, his mothers 1951 centinial featherweight. He was thrilled and he didn't know that I had her machine. The expression on his face was priceless.
