How true that was - My DH & I moved to FL 3 yrs after we married. My parents retired to FL about a yr later - which was great - they lived in the same subdivision - we saw them all the time That is until some of their old trailer buddies retired to our area as well - that was when they remembered they had brought down their Airstream trailer - well they started going on rallies- we used to call them the "Gypsy Grandparents." Boy did they have fun - & they travelled the world (South Africa - New Zealand - England & several other countries) & the USA with the WBCCI. My Mom used to tell me, my Dad was planning their next trip while they were driving home from the latest one they had gone on. Sometimes she hardly had a chance to wash their clothes before they left again.
But they really enjoyed life. They are gone now, but have left me some really great memories.
