You wouldn't want to come batik (or any fabric) at the LQS in Canada! Last time I was at Fabricland (somewhat like Joann's) they had batiks at $22 metre (39") Needless to say I buy all of mine online from the US. I love batiks as well but certainly can't afford to buy them here.
