I was so tickled today to receive my 2nd place prize. It was four different yards of fabric, all in red and white patterns. I immediately began thinking of the Red and White quilt display in New York a few weeks ago. Maybe I'll start looking for some more fabrics to accompany the yardage I received and make my own red and white quilt!!
I'm a relatively new quilter (2 years) and seem to be drawn to different color themes as I go along. I knew I wanted to make a Civil War quilt, then a blue and yellow quilt, a sampler quilt, etc. Maybe red and white will fit right in there??? Yep, I think it will.
