Besides doing a grid, I have also thought about using a simple flower design. I have not done FMQ as yet, but I thought I could practice on scrap and if it works, great! If not...I'll do a grid! I do think I'll at least hand quilt flowers in the corners of the quilt. They seem to be calling for something special there!
