I posted a few days ago about my machine that I bought for a bargain on CL and then found out after I got it home that it wouldn't sew and the prior owners cat had "christened" it:< It came home from the sewing repair today and it was a simple timing tune-up and it now runs BEAUTIFULLY. It's in great condition and is a straight stitch only machine. Awesome stitch quality. Heavy as a beast and it can sew through 4 layers of leather :shock: I'm happy it was a pretty simple fix. I've not taken a photo but here's a photo on the net of my exact type machine
