Just wanted to let everyone know we are heading back to Baton Rouge today from Atlanta. It looks like the Spillway is doing its job (unfortunately at the expense of those who live in the flooded areas) and Baton Rouge and New Orleans should remain safe if the levees stay, which they should, but then again, who knows. We did hear that the USDA is going to honor the flood insurance for the farmers, so even though the floods are devastating and nothing can make up for the disruption of life, they will at least get something. I hope it comes to them quickly and without aggravation. We looked at some nice houses a little north of Atlanta. Would be great. Hubby still not sure. Oh well.
