first use a brown paper bag- or piece of parchment paper= put over the sticky area and iron with a hot iron--the residue will (soften) and adhere to the paper...which should remove most of it.
then use goo-gone to remove any lingering adhesive.
as for the color bleed... try rinsing it with running water- it will probably come right back out...but i would not do too much to the piece-after the quilt is all done- wash it using a color catcher.
it is not recommended to put bleach on your quilt...could cause alot more problems than solve.
if the color came off just with pressing the fabric you really need to treat that fabric (or replace it) if it ran with the iron it is going to turn your whole quilt pink when it's finished when it gets washed the first time...all reds should be pre-washed- if you really just do not want to pre-wash at least test your reds ... and wash them when you find they run...
