Try making a scrappy quilt using a wedge ruler and sew the scraps together in opposite directions one after another in long strips. You can make the wedges small, medium or large depending on how large you want the quilt to be. I saw them make this quilt on a Fon's & Porter TV show and went right out and bought the wedge ruler. (You can use a dresden plate ruler also) This is a perfect quilt to make when you want something easy to make and you have two yards of a bunch of colors that will compliment each other. Then you just sew the long strips of wedges together using a small narrow sashing in between the vertical rows and finish it off with any kind of border. It's simple, easy, fast and fun!!
