I'm just getting out of the slump - it was caused by having t take apart a bunch of blocks for a community quilt after finding a
2 1/2" difference in width and length, I just couldn't get to it. the blocks are difficult, one length of the diagonal similar, the side parts are mirror images, lots of bias pieces, so not easy on the dyslexia!! I got to it little by little, now all the blocks are almost even. I'll have to compensate a bit in the sashing, and maybe with borders. The blocks are set on the point and I have to cut triangular 1/2 blocks to fit between the outer blocks so that makes it more difficult for me - have never done on the point blocks before. I decided that the outer edge of the triangles would be more stable if cut on the width of grain, so they are probably, tho the plainest feature, the most even and stable of the quilt. Sigh.... I agree with the chocolate therapy support method of re-starting!!
