The baskets are on a 6x6 grid.
Basically, you make up a bunch of HST blocks and a few plain squares, and then play. The blocks are on point.
Here's a few samples I threw together - with and without the patch lines. Ignore where I made a HST with the same fabrics.
When you're done with the center of your quilt top and ready for the border, let me know the measurements to figure out the spacing for the border.
But really, these baskets are a breeze

It's going to be awhile before the baskets are done.
I got a good start on them awhile back .... and then, life got in the way, quilting got in the way, OBW and blah blah blah !!!
And yes, definitely hold off on the design stage for me .... I may switch things up with some sashing between, so of course that would change all the dimensions and proportions!! :) I REALLY do appreciate your help on this!!
They're fun to make, so once I get at it, they'll move ahead well. I can see simpler ways, or perhaps I should say ways to expedite the production! Soon!! :)
