Here is my first quilted wall hanging. It was lots of fun (!), many mistakes (and the photo shows most ... ). It is an engagement gift for my cousin who is marrying Jenny who I met for the first time after she had picked a big pail of wild blueberries.
I riffed on Cherri House's "City Harbor" quilt in the book City Quilts. The wall hanging is a quarter of the size of the quilt in the book. Also, I love the richness of the color of batiks. And so, I'm in my experimental phase ...
