Sorry I can't help with guilds or activities but there is a very nice LQS in Dagsboro, DE. Not really sure how far it is from Chestertown but I do know there are not many in that area. I go to Ocean City, MD at least once a year and usually try to stop in the shop. Sorry, also don't remember the name but I'm sure you could google it. They do carry a lot of homespun but also other fabrics, good quality and reasonable prices. I do know they give guild discounts so I'm sure they could point you in the right direction.
