I'm needing two quick adult quilts. I've started a carpenter's star for one of the sister's. For the other I'm thinking of a warm wishes quilt. Can I get a lap throw out of a yard of focus fabric. I'd really like to not buy fabric for these. I have quite a collection of 1 yd. pieces in my stash. I'm finding this amount almost useless. The fabric I'm thinking of using (focus print) is a black background with yellow roses & green leaves. For my stripes I have yellow, white & ???. Any tips.
