I have a kitchen island in my sewing room.Took out the cutting table(wanted more room in the middle of the room) store my
accuquilt go & dies in the doors....keep the leaf up on it...cutting
mat on top for cutting, it is the same heighth as cutting table and am making an ironing board top for it so I can press large pieces of fabric there and then store it behind the island......works great for me...
