I like K3n`s suggestion of adding another row of 1/2 hexagons so you have a straight edge to bind to. A lot less work then trying to bind around each hexagon plus has the advantage of still maintaining the hexagon shape.
I did this on the interior part of a baby quilt I made so the quilt would end up in a rectangular shape.
