OK I won't even count the ones where I have the fabric set aside and a design in mind. I currently have 3 quilts going right now that all have hand work. One is being handquilted that I can actually see the light at the end of the tunnel as I will be starting on the borders this week if all goes as planned. The other is a hand applique project and the 3rd is my sawtooth cats quilt that I am doing the hand embroidery on right now before sewing the blocks together.
Then I have 2 scrap quilts in the works. One is a log cabin that is pretty much a UFO right now as I haven't done any sewing on it in a couple of years but am always adding scrap logs to the stash. I ran out of logs when I started piecing it so want to build up the inventory. Then I have a buttload (yes that is a technical term! ) of left over triangles from another quilt I completed last year that I am sewing into HST. They are pretty much leaders and enders for me but sometimes I just sew a huge string of them. I have a UFO languishing in my stash dresser where I have completed all the blocks but need to do filler blocks for it because I am making it up as I go along and there are lots of different size blocks. I think that one is languishing because I haven't taken the time to measure what I need for fillers. I have a batik quilt I am making from the batik block swap that I need additional blocks that I work on occasionally. I have one more quilt that just needs binding and finally I have a client quilt on the LA rack with 3 more tops waiting to be put on. Hmmm, do ya think I may be a little ADHD??
