I found some cast off plastic coated wire freezer baskets that are the perfect size for fat quarters. I have the white craft boxes from WalMart that look nice on a bookshelf that hold lots of notions. You can turn the drawers toward the wall when you leave your sewing room that will keep the cats from opening them. Unless they turn it around :lol: :lol: :lol:
It wouldn't suprise me if they did turn it around. The one thing I do love about the drawers is the fact that they are clear, so I can see what's inside from the sides. I'm actually running out of room in this thing. I've gotten all my fabric for free from a woman who's mother made 500+ quilts since the time she was 18, and she's now 92 years old. The daughter has been gathering all sorts of stuff for me, including tons of unused fabric and she's given it all to me free, thanks to freecycle.com, that's where I found the woman. :D :D :D
