The "Quilting" fabrics usually are. Many quilt shops will also carry wool as there are some quilters who want to make wool quilts as well as the wool penny rugs and stuff. Some "Quilt" shops also carry other fabrics as well for other hobbies but most of those will call themselves "fabric" stores. Hope this helps.
